8V seems like all the artists I know are already super well known with DD's and tons of Page views and watchers, so I'm SOL trying to think of unknown artists.

If you have anyone you think should be nominated, please point them out in my journals.

As of late I have been branching back into the realm of traditional media in my art, as well as working on making soap, emptying out to remodel my room, visit family, work on Sandpainters, etc, which has SERIOUSLY cut down on my output of  artwork on top of an art and writers block I am trying to dig myself out from under.

SO! Here's a little update on my latest art project so you can see it all.



I'm working on a small series (perhaps just a trilogy) of sculptures of the maturing of a female "Steampunk" inspired dragon. The first stage starts out rather leathery and normal looking despite her metal egg, and she slowly becomes more and more steam punk herself rather then just her surroundings.  

Eventually the original Scrapyard Dragons will be put up for sale. This one's just the first. :3
