Ok, this one requires some explanation. told me last week that Johnny Depp (who became really REALLY popular because of his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean) was being interviewed on some Entertainment show, and they were asking him the general questions. When they got to “What do you like doing in your free time?” His response was:

“Oh, Nerdy things.. Reading. Writing. Watching Anime, no da!”

… OH. MY. GAWD!

No Da? That’s what Chichiri says! Chichiri is a mage, monk, and shapeshifter from Fushigi Yugi, my all time Favorite anime. In the English translation, his “No da,” which is a verbal exclamation point, is translated into a “Ya Know.” VERY ANNOYING. But, the No Da blends into the rest of the sentence, making it actually sound cool.

Anyway, I was chuckling at the fact that Johnny Depp likes the same show I do in the origonal Language (which likely means that, if enough people wondered what he was talking about, there may be more people to come out to love the show), and this popped up…

Looks like Chichiri needs to work on his costuming skills.. His mustache is a dry erase marker and his goatee is falling off…Plus, he needs to tuck his blue bangs in.

But the rest of the costume looks pretty good!
