This semester of College I've been taking a Sculpture class, and our first assignment was to make a Life sized (or slightly larger) bust, and the teacher stated to learn the anatomy of the face to bring in pictures of ourselves in the pose/expression we wanted and sketches if we didnt want a self portrate of the character we wanted so we'd have a refrence of the character. However, while I had not brought in pictures: Instead, I prefered to look at everyone elses faces and get clay all over my face by feeling around my own facial structures.

I DID however have a sketch. A character of mine who's almost two years old now, the 60 year old Russian Scientist, Sezja Kuznetsov, the tough old bird.

Her hair isnt fully accurate -- I couldnt get it to "Fly away" like her hair is supposed to do, but this is the best image I've ever done of her 8D

The class only visits one day a week, so this has taken 4 weeks to do, about 4-6 hours a week (I come in early and work during Lab time after my Painting Class on Tuesdays between that class and my sculpture class)
