I admit to being a Bilious fan girl since when I first found her gallery, so while she may have pretty much the same amount of pageviews that I have, she honestly deserves more people watching her. Her style is creative and shows the soul of a storyteller. GO! GO! SPAM HER WITH LOVE

And now for something completely different.

I haven't been around as much as I could -- First a hard semester of school, Artblock, working out of artblock, The Holidays (Christmas and New Years <3), Not really finishing my projects, and helping out a lot has been keeping me from being really super artsy. I got a couple large projects in the works, as well as a few smaller ones.

BUT, the main thing that has been keeping me busy from being as active here on Deviant art has been.. Well..

Learning to Drive a stickshift well enough to get my Drivers License.

While I still have plenty of learning to do by Monday when classes start again, in a Campus 45 minutes away from home, I HAVE MY DRIVERS LICENSE!

I've been sickly the past few days so I am glad that the stress of trying to get this finished has passed and maybe now I can focus on getting better. Though first I'm gonna take a day off with my buddy =GoldphishCrackers and relax, which will be the best thing for me I could do at the moment. XD I'll be driving every night and trying to get used to, well... Everything.

The world is suddenly very very large now that I'm driving, and I've always been somewhat uncomfortable with it ever since I was four and a driver pulled out infront of us. I felt more protected in my old clunky Oldsmobile, but couldnt bring myself to drive it again after its breaks failed mysteriously (the mechanics never could figure out what was wrong with it.)

I should be finishing up a few of my projects soon -- I'll be having two days of weekday off before the weekend every week, and for the this will be my LAST SEMESTER until I get my Graphic Design Degree. <3

At time of Update I am currently saving for a pirate paint brush. Think you could spare 1k?

hee. I love driving stick shifts. Manual transmissions are much easier for me to drive than automatics, because I'm always reaching for the stick, and yelling at the car "stop shifting! there's no reason to shift now!"

Yeah, I kinda like stick, though I'm still sort of "OMGWTF" about it sometimes. BUT I've only been driving it for two weeks and have gotten good enough to get my drivers license with it XD

It's really not that hard, especially if the vehicle itself is loud enough to give you all the sonic cues you need. It's not hard to tell when to shift, and when you get good at it you'll be all instinct. Having learned on a volkswagen, I know stick shifts saved my life, at least once by being able to slow the car down (because bug breaks SUCK) in heavy traffic. The bug BEHIND me would have been *where I was sitting* if I had not swerved and brought the car to a stop next to the divider... :)

Wow congrats!! I still don't know how to drive a stick shift D: I know what you mean about bigger cars feeling safer too - I hate driving our family's suburban, but I feel invincible in it!

And YAY FOR MINDSEND GONNA GRADIATE ONG!!!!11 Rose is so proud!

I have CDO. It's like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but it's in alphabetical order.... as it should be.

Driving stick isnt as hard as you'd think @_@ Takes practice, but it isn't that hard once you get used to it all... Would prefer some automatic -- seems to aggrivate my carple tunnel a bit. And because I need the exersize I park pretty far back in the parking lot.. Still end up coming out with a lot of people's cars around mine, but its good exersize and usually not so packed or busy.

AN YUS I GONNA GRAGIDATE! 8D <3
